The Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce is committed to improving the business climate and quality of life for Shenandoah County, and to act whenever the interests of the business community are challenged. The Shenandoah County Chamber supports the economic development of the region, pro-business and good government policies. The Shenandoah County Chamber is a member of VA West, a business and legislative coalition made up of 15 chambers across central, southside, Shenandoah Valley, Top of Virginia, and western Virginia, collectively representing over 5,000 businesses. Todd Gilbert (33rd District) Local Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors Voice of Business Committee Mission/Purpose: Our mission is to lead the creation of a vibrant and diverse community that fosters economic opportunity and well-being. We aim to be the go-to organization for our business community, providing leadership and valuable resources. The committee monitors and educates members on legislation at the federal, state and local level. A focused process is followed that involves hearing presentations on issues, reviewing issues, gathering input from our members as to how these issues impact their business and then making recommendations to the Board for further action. This committee is open to any active member of the Chamber. |
