    Veterans Banner Program Application

    Let's Celebrate our Woodstock Veterans

The Town of Woodstock’s Veterans Banner Program is administered by AMVETS Post 11.

Completed applications and fees should be submitted to AMVETS and not the Town of Woodstock. Please complete all sections. Incomplete applications may delay review. The banner program operates on a two-year rotation, with banners returned to applicants afterward. The Town of Woodstock will store the banners between display periods, and the Town will also provide the brackets. The program operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to those with a Woodstock connection and without banners in surrounding communities. If we receive too many applications, your application will be saved for the following two-year rotation.

    Choir Details:

The sheet music for both is available as a digital download.  You will need to purchase "Our Song of Freedom".  I have purchased 50 copies of the National Anthem arrangement below and will distribute on a first some first serve basis.   I will also purchase the background tracks for both and send out for everyone to practice with.  I will collect sizes and orders for all of the T shirts and will need to purchase by June 1, so I have set that as a deadline for contacting me about participating.  *Singers not a part of a church can purchase music and their shirt directly from me.

We will rehearse at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Woodstock.  We will hold 3 one-hour rehearsals in June, with at least one the week leading up to the performance (all prob on a Tues, Wed, Thurs).  We will set those dates once I get a response from several churches and see what works for most.  I would like to get everyone to at least 2 of the 3 rehearsals just so we can finesse dynamics, cut offs, and practice with the background tracks.

The performance will be in front of the courthouse on Court Street during the opening ceremony and will last approx. 30 minutes.  If there is inclement weather, we will sing up under the porch of the courthouse.

Booth Placements: Priority for space selection will be given only to Gold Sponsors.

The event hosts shall be the final authority in assigning space for all additional exhibitors. Every effort to comply with booth requests will be made on a first come, first served basis. If booth requests are not available, a most similar booth request will be assigned.

Subletting of Space: Space assigned may not be transferred, assigned, sublet or shared with others. One business per 8’ table.

Door Prize: Each business must provide a minimum of one door prize to be given away at the event from your booth space. We suggest this be valued at a minimum of $35.

Electricity: There is no electricity available.

WIFI: CHS offers wifi at no additional charge.

Set-up/Tear Down: Vendors are expected to staff their booth throughout the entire event, from 10am to 2pm. Setup will begin Saturday at 8am. 9am will be networking time with other vendors. You may disassemble your exhibits after 2pm, upon completion of the Fair. Table and chairs will be provided.

Parking: We are asking vendors and exhibitors to park your vehicles in the side parking lot which is between CHS and WWRES after you unload. Thank you in advance for your consideration of our attendees.

Refreshments: Bottles of water and snacks will be provided to all vendors. The CHS Concession stand will be open and selling hot food and Sugar Creek Ice Cream.

No Shows: Any vendor who has contracted space and does not show up at the event will forfeit all monies and will be responsible for paying the invoiced amount in full.

    Make It Fun!

    Provide testing and screenings.

    Hands- on activities encouraged.

    Be creative – be memorable!

We encourage you to design some interactive feature into your exhibit. You will receive more traffic and guests when there is an interaction, rather than handing out literature alone.

Provide a "healthy" treat for the attendees - we will invite the community to trick or treat with us.

Star in the Valley’s Eighth Annual Christmas Market returns for 2026 on Small Business Saturday, November 28, 2026. Kick off the holiday season with festive cheer, cozy winterdrinks, live entertainment, and a curated lineup of upscale vendors offering unique gifts from small businesses.

The market begins at 11 AM and runs until 4 PM, featuring over two dozen local and regional vendors with handcrafted goods, specialty foods, and one-of-a-kind holiday finds. Throughout the day, the winery will be serving seasonal favorites like mulled wine, along with a special “Christmas in Europe” drink tour - a festive tasting experience inspired by traditional holiday beverages from European Christmas markets.

After the market concludes, the celebration continues at the winery until 8 PM, with wine, warm drinks, music, and a relaxed holiday atmosphere perfect for gathering with friends and family.

No tickets or reservations are required - just come ready to enjoy the season.
