A Lunch and Learn Opportunity

If you ever watch daytime television, you are aware of all the advertising for various Medicare Supplemental Insurances. As if turning 65 isn’t difficult enough, the blasts of advertising can make determining what is best for you and your family confusing and confounding. Then, once you have Medicare, the options for Supplemental Insurances continue to change regularly. The “Lunch and Learn” workshop will provide common sense information to help clarify the difference options and how to find the right option for you.

Sponsored by Emmanuel Episcopal Church and Saint Paul's UCC, Scott Terndrup, our presenter, has served as VICAP Medicare coordinator for the Northern Shenandoah Valley, providing free and confidential counseling to anyone needing assistance understanding, enrolling, or filing appeals to Medicare; and the SMP - Senior Medicare Patrol - that works with the Department of Justice and the Attorney General to detect and report healthcare fraud.

A light lunch will be provided at no cost.
