Impacts of Social Media on Business Growth Study

Andrew Miller is a Senior at Central High School and attends the Massanutten Regional Governor's School. As his research course this year, Andrew has chosen to study the effects of online marketing platforms on the growth of local businesses.

Andrew's research is being conducted alongside the Shenandoah County Chamber and the Shenandoah County Department of Tourism and Economic Development. Andrew is a graduate of the Chamber's Student Leadership Shenandoah County program where he met many of our business owners.

Andrew's research goal is centered on investigating the impact of incorporating additional social media platforms, or introducing a new one for the first time, on the growth trajectories of businesses. In pursuit of this objective, participants will hopefully integrate a new social media platform into their advertising efforts.
